Here is my Bio!
Chianne Smith was born on July 30th, 2000 and raised in Queens, NY. Attended Millennium Art Academy in Bronx, NY. Here is where she was taught to paint still lifes and images taken from nature. Graduating in 2018, is where she attended Alfred State College in the fall that same year. It was here when Chianne was exposed to 3D animation as well as expanding on her knowledge in traditional art. After dabbling in 3D, 2D, and traditional art, she was able to find her artistic style, using elements from all three.
As a senior, she submitted her first animation to a film festival. “The Plant” became an official selection into the SWFF-11 SUNY film festival.
As a current Alfred State College senior, Chianne has made a few 2D animations as well as a large number of Illustrations, both by hand and digitally. Focusing on her skills as an illustrator, she strives to one day get her foot in the door and be an addition to the preproduction of the animation pipeline. Until that day comes, she illustrates and makes personal animations on her own time, building her portfolio.
